Skiing
Winter ski resort located in the heart of Liptov in the Low Tatras above the village Závažná Poruba – at the foot of the Poludnica mountain, only 10 minutes away from us by car.
Five artificially snow-covered slopes, four lifts and a chairlift provide comfort without long queues. There is also a cross-country ski area with lighting with a total of 30 km of cross-country ski trails.
The PEPE Ski and Snowboard School’s team of instructors is professionally trained by SAPUL, whose methodological practices are internationally recognised. Instructors have regular training sessions to maintain and enrich skills and abilities.
There are many hiking trails of varying difficulty around Liptovský Ján, so everyone will find the right one for themselves.
Jánska dolina nature trail: this trail is 2.5 km long and leads through the beautiful Jánska dolina valley. The trail is easy and suitable for families with children.
Hike to the mineral spring. The trail is 1.5 km long and is easy.
Hike to Poludnica: Poludnica is a hill with an altitude of 1 549 m above sea level, from which you can enjoy beautiful views of the Low Tatras and the Liptovská basin. The route is 5 km long and the elevation is 950 m.

Tatralandia: Aquapark Tatralandia is one of the largest aquaparks in Slovakia. It offers a wide range of water slides, swimming pools and wellness services.
Besenova: Bešeňová Water Park is another popular water park in Liptov. It offers thermal pools, water slides and a sauna world.
Museum of the Liptov Village Pribylina: The Museum of the Liptov Village is an open-air museum that offers examples of folk architecture and life in Liptov in the past.
Evangelical Church in Liptovský Ján: The church was built in the 18th century and is a beautiful example of Baroque architecture.
